		<description>I agree with Jimmy - it may not be practical for some people, but for those of us with large gardens and a commitment to eating local it is. I might not appreciate sweating over two dozen jars of tomato sauce in September, but I will definitely appreciate it come February when those jars are just waiting to become pasta sauce, sloppy joes and pot roast... Mmmm.

And now I want to make apple jelly!</description>

		<description>I can&#039;t agree with you when you say it is no longer &quot;practical&quot; to can 20 jars of applesauce.  My local organic orchard charges $16 per bushel of #2 apples, which are still pretty good looking fruit.  I can 20 jars from the bushel, and even counting the sugar, canning lids, and electricity or propane they still only cost me less than $1.50 per jar of pesticide-free chucky deliciousness.  My wife and I both work full time, but when something is important to a family, you make time to do it (read: watch less TV).</description>
