I made this beautiful Vanilla Pear Butter this weekend. I did mine in the slow cooker. I didn’t think that the vanilla was very pronounced when tasting it before putting it in jars, but after putting several jars in the canning bath I tasted the cooled butter and it blew my mind!!! It is the most excellent and sublime flavor and the vanilla is pronounced once the butter cools. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.
